DESCRIPTION:Welcome to UKAEA Public open evening!\n \nWe'd like to invite
  the public to UKAEA's Open Evening! This event is part of the ATOM Festiv

 ogy Festival\, Abingdon-on-Thames'\nOur Open Evenings offer you a unique o
 pportunity to see in-person some of the amazing work we are doing to devel
 op sustainable fusion energy. You will receive an introductory talk coveri
 ng the basics of fusion energy\, followed by tours of the world’s larges
 t fusion experiment\; the world record breaking Joint European Torus (JET)
  and our Materials Research Facility (MRF). These tours will be led by eng
 ineers\, scientists and technicians\, who are currently working on the exp
 eriments – so you are guaranteed a genuine insight into what it’s like
  to work in fusion and have the opportunity to directly ask our passionate
  researchers anything about our work here at UKAEA.\nBring your questions 
 and curiosity as you discover just how on Earth we are creating star-power
  and see two of the leading facilities responsible for this ground-breakin
 g research\, pushing us closer to delivering fusion energy for all!\nPleas
 e note anyone attending this event is require to wear closed toe shoes and
  a hard hats (a hard hat will be provided on the day).\n\nRegistration\nYo
 u must register by completing the registration form. We encourage you to b
 e logged into Indico (the web-based event management system hosting this s
 ite) to register.\nTo register\, select the ‘Registration’ tab in the
  menu on the left-hand side of the page.\n\nWho can attend\nYou are welcom
 e to attend with friends and family\, but please note there is a maximum o
 f 10 tickets per group. There is a minimum age limit of 12 years old. Any
 one under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\nDue t
 o high demand and limited availability\, only register if you are confiden
 t you can attend. This helps us manage resources and ensure places are use
 d effectively.\n\nTicket and key dates\nThis event will be held in a in-pe
 rson format.\nPlaces are limited due to room capacity. Registration may cl
