n Welcome to the Third Visualizing Offline and Live Data with AI (VOLDA)
Workshop – 2026! \n The Third Visualizing Offline and Live Data with AI
(VOLDA) Workshop will take place at The Cosener’s House\, Abingdon\, Un
ited Kingdom\, and is organised by the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA).
\n VOLDA brings together the fusion community to explore advanced scienti
fic visualisation\, digital twin environments\, and interactive data inter
pretation workflows\, alongside artificial intelligence and machine learni
ng techniques that support insight generation from complex fusion experime
nts and simulations. \n Over three days\, the workshop will focus on pract
ical experience\, lessons learned\, and innovative approaches for visualis
ing\, analysing\, and interacting with large-scale fusion data — from of
fline simulation outputs to live experimental streams. \n The programme wi
ll include invited and contributed presentations\, structured discussions\
, and opportunities for collaboration across research organisations and in
dustry. \n\n Abstract Submission \n Authors are invited to submit abstra
cts aligned with the Conference Topics of the Third Visualizing Offline an
d Live Data with AI (VOLDA) Workshop – 2026.All submissions must be made
through the online submission system and will be reviewed by the Programm
e Committee for relevance and scientific quality. The workshop offers two c
ontribution categories. Accepted submissions in the Contributed Presentati
on category will be scheduled as oral presentations within the technical p
rogramme\, while Discussion Contributions will be incorporated into struct
ured interactive sessions and roundtable discussions. \n\n Registration
\n Participation in the workshop is encouraged with an abstract to presen
t and discuss fusion-relevant visualization topics\, but an abstract is no
t strictly required. Registration as audience participant is also welcome.
\n Authors and participants will be notified of the outcome of the revie
w process. Once an abstract is accepted\, presenting authors and discussio
n participants will be invited to complete the registration process. \nThe
re is no registration fee.The registration form will be made available via
Indico at a later date. Detailed instructions will be provided to accepte
d participants. \n Participation is moderated\, and places are limited du
e to room capacity. \n\n Who can attend \n The workshop is intended for
researchers\, designers\, engineers\, and developers working in scientific
  visualisation\, fusion data interpretation\, digital twins\, interactive
 diagnostic systems\, real-time data platforms\, and AI/ML applications sup
porting insight generation in fusion research. \n We particularly welcome
participants developing or applying advanced visualisation workflows\, di
gital twin technologies\, immersive/XR tools\, and interactive systems for
exploring complex experimental and simulation data. \n Due to high demand
and limited availability\, please register only if you are confident you
can attend. \n\n Key Dates  \n Workshop dates: 27–29 October 2026Abstr
act submission deadline: 18 Sep 2026Notification of Acceptance: within 2 w
eeks of submission deadlineNote: Submission portal may close early if capa
city is reached. \n\n Visas / Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) \n
Please check the UK Government website to determine whether you require a
visa or ETA. We recommend applying at least 16 weeks before the event. \n
If you require an invitation letter\, please email the organising team wit
h your full name\, organisation\, and nationality as stated in your passpo
rt.\n \nInternational participants are encouraged to submit their abstrac
ts as early as possible to allow sufficient time for visa processing.\n\nh
