DESCRIPTION:Welcome to UKAEA Public open evening!\n \nWe'd like to invite
  the public to UKAEA's Open Evening! \nOur Open Evenings offer you a uniq
 ue opportunity to see in-person some of the amazing work we are doing to d
 evelop sustainable fusion energy. You will receive an introductory talk co
 vering the basics of fusion energy\, followed by tours of the world’s la
 rgest fusion experiment\; the world record breaking Joint European Torus (
 JET) and our Materials Research Facility (MRF). These tours will be led by
  engineers\, scientists and technicians\, who are currently working on the
  experiments – so you are guaranteed a genuine insight into what it’s 
 like to work in fusion and have the opportunity to directly ask our passio
 nate researchers anything about our work here at UKAEA.\nBring your questi
 ons and curiosity as you discover just how on Earth we are creating star-p
 ower and see two of the leading facilities responsible for this ground-bre
 aking research\, pushing us closer to delivering fusion energy for all!\nP
 lease note anyone attending this event is require to wear closed toe shoes
  and a hard hats (a hard hat will be provided on the day).\n\nRegistration
 \nYou must register by completing the registration form. We encourage you 
 to be logged into Indico (the web-based event management system hosting th
 is site) to register.\nTo register\, select the ‘Registration’ tab in
  the menu on the left-hand side of the page.\n\nWho can attend\nYou are we
 lcome to attend with friends and family\, but please note there is a maxim
 um of 10 tickets per group. There is a minimum age limit of 12 years old.
  Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\nD
 ue to high demand and limited availability\, only register if you are conf
 ident you can attend. This helps us manage resources and ensure places are
  used effectively.\n\nTicket and key dates\nThis event will be held in a i
 n-person format.\nPlaces are limited due to room capacity. Registration ma
