DESCRIPTION:Welcome to UKAEA Public open evening!\n \nWe'd like to invite
  the public to UKAEA's Open Evening! \nOur Open Evenings offer you a uniq
 ue opportunity to see in-person some of the amazing work we are doing to d
 evelop sustainable fusion energy. You will receive an introductory talk co
 vering the basics of fusion energy\, followed by tours of the world’s la
 rgest fusion experiment\; the world record breaking Joint European Torus (
 JET) and our Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak Upgrade (MAST-U). These tours will
  be led by engineers\, scientists and technicians\, who are currently work
 ing on the experiments – so you are guaranteed a genuine insight into wh
 at it’s like to work in fusion and have the opportunity to directly ask 
 our passionate researchers anything about our work here at UKAEA.\nBring y
 our questions and curiosity as you discover just how on Earth we are creat
 ing star-power and see two of the leading facilities responsible for this 
 ground-breaking research\, pushing us closer to delivering fusion energy f
 or all!\nTickets will go live on Monday 13th April.\nPlease note anyone at
 tending this event is require to wear closed toe shoes and a hard hats (a 
 hard hat will be provided on the day).\n\nRegistration\nYou must register 
 by completing the registration form. We encourage you to be logged into In
 dico (the web-based event management system hosting this site) to register
 .\nTo register\, select the ‘Registration’ tab in the menu on the lef
 t-hand side of the page.\n\nWho can attend\nYou are welcome to attend with
  friends and family\, but please note there is a maximum of 10 tickets per
  group. There is a minimum age limit of 12 years old. Anyone under the ag
 e of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\nDue to high demand an
 d limited availability\, only register if you are confident you can attend
 . This helps us manage resources and ensure places are used effectively.\n
