DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the ECW2026 event page!\nThe UKAEA Exhaust Code Wor
 kshop (ECW) is a space where both developers and users of exhaust-relevant
  codes can share progress that might not normally make it to a conference 
 talk or a paper: implementation details\, challenges\, half-started (but i
 nteresting) ideas\, what didn't work and what worked well!\nBuilding on th
 e huge success of the Hermes-3 workshop in 2024 and its 2025 edition under
  the ECW name\, we are now making the workshop fully open and inviting bro
 ader contributions. We will still give updates on our projects\, including
  Hermes-3 and the GPU kinetic neutral model VANTAGE.\nECW2026 is a free ev
 ent. Lunch will be provided. \nThere will be a conference dinner - the pr
 e-payment page will open nearer to the event. \nWho can attend?\nECW is o
 pen to anyone involved in or interested in fusion device exhaust code deve
 lopment. This is not exclusive to tokamaks\, and we welcome submissions re
 levant to stellarators\, dipoles or any other configurations. We want to c
 reate an open\, informal and welcoming atmosphere where there are no stupi
 d questions or stupid answers - non-experts and early-stage students are v
 ery welcome! \nAll external visitors must bring valid photo ID\, such as 
 a driving licence or passport.\nFormat\nWe have four focus topics this yea
 r: mean-field\, turbulence\, kinetic neutrals and research software engine
 ering.\nThe program will include:\n\n\nKeynote talks from world-leading ex
 perts (30mins + 10mins questions)\n\n\nModerated panel discussions\n\n\nCo
 ntributed talks (15 mins + 5 mins questions)\n\n\nLightning talks with pos
 ters (2 slides in 4 mins + A0 poster)\n\n\nThe event will be hybrid apart 
 from the poster session\, but we encourage you to come in person - the mos
 t useful discussions often happen over a coffee or over a beer in the even
 ing.\nKey dates\, registration\, submission and other details\n\nPlease se
