DESCRIPTION:Welcome to UKAEA Public open evening!\n \nWe'd like to invite
  the public to UKAEA's Open Evening! \nOur Open Evenings offer you a uniq
 ue opportunity to see in-person some of the amazing work we are doing to d
 evelop sustainable fusion energy. You will receive an introductory talk co
 vering the basics of fusion energy\, followed by tours of the world’s la
 rgest fusion experiment\; the world record breaking Joint European Torus (
 JET) and our Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE). These
  tours will be led by engineers\, scientists and technicians\, who are cur
 rently working on the experiments – so you are guaranteed a genuine insi
 ght into what it’s like to work in fusion and have the opportunity to di
 rectly ask our passionate researchers anything about our work here at UKAE
 A.\nBring your questions and curiosity as you discover just how on Earth w
 e are creating star-power and see two of the leading facilities responsibl
 e for this ground-breaking research\, pushing us closer to delivering fusi
 on energy for all!\nTickets will go live on Monday 1st June.\nPlease note 
 anyone attending this event is require to wear closed toe shoes and a hard
  hats (a hard hat will be provided on the day).\nThis Open Evening is inte
 nded for the general public. If you work at UKAEA\, please sign up for the
  Friends and Family Open Evening instead\, which will be available to book
  soon.\n\nRegistration\nYou must register by completing the registration f
 orm. We encourage you to be logged into Indico (the web-based event manage
 ment system hosting this site) to register.\nTo register\, select the ‘
 Registration’ tab in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.\n\nWho 
 can attend\nYou are welcome to attend with friends and family\, but please
  note there is a maximum of 10 tickets per group. There is a minimum age 
 limit of 12 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a
  responsible adult.\nDue to high demand and limited availability\, only re
 gister if you are confident you can attend. This helps us manage resources
  and ensure places are used effectively.\n\nTicket and key dates\nThis eve
 nt will be held in a in-person format.\nPlaces are limited due to room cap
 acity. Registration may close earlier than the advertised deadline if capa
