DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome schools to UKAEA for an inspiring 
 full-day visit designed to give students a unique insight into the future 
 of fusion energy.\nDuring the visit\, students will receive an introductor
 y talk covering the basics of fusion energy. They will then take part in g
 uided tours of two of our world-leading facilities: Joint European Torus (
 JET) and Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE). These tou
 rs will be led by our engineers\, scientists and technicians\, offering st
 udents a genuine\, behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge research and tec
 hnology.\nIn addition to the tours\, students will take part in a range of
  engaging activities\, including a career carousel session. This provides 
 a valuable opportunity for students to speak directly with apprentices and
  graduates working at UKAEA\, ask questions about their career journeys\, 
 and learn more about the different roles and experiences available.\nStude
 nts are encouraged to bring their curiosity as they explore how we are dev
 eloping  fusion energy and discover the exciting careers that contribute 
 to this ground-breaking work.\nThe standard school visit time is 10:00-15:
 00.\nPlease note we can accommodate a maximum of 40 students per visit. Al
 so\, anyone attending this event is require to wear closed toe shoes and a
  hard hat (a hard hat will be provided on the day).\nAlso\, you are only a
 llowed to book one slot per school.\n\nRegistration\nYou must register by 
 completing the registration form. We encourage you to be logged into Indic
 o (the web-based event management system hosting this site) to register.\n

 and side of the page.\n\nWho can attend\nDue to high demand and limited av
 ailability\, only register if you are confident you can attend. This helps
  us manage resources and ensure places are used effectively.\n\nTicket and
  key dates\nThis event will be held in a in-person format.\nPlaces are lim
 ited due to room capacity. Registration may close earlier than the adverti
