DESCRIPTION:\nWelcome to MRF-II Facility Launch Event! \nUKAEA is pleased
  to invite you to a launch event for the MRF-II facility\, which will offe
 r the following capacities to characterise nuclear materials:\n\nMIAMI-2 (
 Microscopes and Ion Accelerators for Materials Investigations) - a world-l
 eading facility for the study of radiation damage in materials currently l
 ocated at the University of Huddersfield. MIAMI-2 simulates the effects of
  radiation damage and helium formation in materials via dual implantation 
 of heavy ions and alpha particles\, serving as a proxy for neutron irradia
 tion effects.\n\n \n\nTRITIMAP (TRITium Imaging and MAPping infrastructur
 e) – to be a globally unique facility with tritium-compatible Nanoscale 
 Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (NanoSIMS)\, Focussed Ion Beam Time of Fli
 ght SIMS and atom probe tomography (APT) combined capability for mapping a
 nd quantification of tritium across length scales.\n\nYour expertise will 
 be invaluable to explore opportunities to benefit as collaboration partner
 s.\nAdditional tours of the UKAEA JET facility and Materials Research Faci
 lity (MRF) will be available to those who are interested.\n \n\nRegistrat
