Virtual Skills Day - 21st August

Our Virtual Skills Day will be a morning full of live demonstrations, virtual tours of UKAEA facilities and talks with industry experts. This will provide you with the perfect opportunity to learn all about fusion energy, ask questions and discover how you could shape the future of energy.

Introduction to Fusion

This talk will be delivered by Nia John, our Outreach Manager. The session will include a PowerPoint presentation, a plasma ball demo, a breakdown of a tokamak, what is ITER, what is STEP and a Virtual tour of JET.

This is a guided virtual tour of our Fusion Technology Facility in Rotherham.

Meet the Robot

This session will include a robot demonstration delivered by Charles, one of UKAEA's Remote Handling Operations Engineer.
