Email Domain Errors
We are currently investigating an issue affecting the validation of certain email addresses — specifically those using common domains such as @sky.com
— when completing online forms.
❗ What’s Happening
Some users have reported receiving an error message indicating that their email address is invalid or that the domain does not exist. This appears to occur primarily on iPads, particularly when accessing the registration form directly from an email link.
🛠️ What We’re Doing
Our technical team is actively investigating the root cause of the issue. Early indications suggest this may be related to how email addresses are autofilled or copied on certain devices, potentially introducing invisible characters that interfere with domain validation. Or even the domains are blocked on our internal network so the validation fails.
✅ Temporary Workaround
If you encounter this issue:
- Please manually retype your email address rather than using autofill or copy-paste.
- Ensure there are no extra spaces or characters before or after the email.
- If the problem persists, try completing the form from a desktop or laptop device.
- Contact event organisers to register on your behalf.
🔄 We’re Working on It
We’re working to implement a fix that will automatically clean up problematic input to avoid this issue in the future. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
