Abstract Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit abstracts aligned with the Conference Topics of the Third Visualizing Offline and Live Data with AI (VOLDA) Workshop – 2026.

All submissions must be made through the online submission system and will be reviewed by the Programme Committee for relevance and scientific quality.

The workshop offers two abstract categories:

1. Contributed Abstract Submission (Oral Presentation)
Authors wishing to present their work must submit an abstract of no more than 300 words.

During submission, authors must select one of the following four tracks (see Scientific Programme for details):
- Advanced Visualisation for Fusion Experiments and Simulation
- Digital Twins and Engineering Integration
- Data-Driven Methods and AI-Enabled Workflows
- Big Data Infrastructure and Scalable Pipelines

Accepted submissions will be scheduled as contributed oral presentations within the appropriate technical session. The final presentation format and session assignment will be determined by the organisers.

Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment to present if accepted.

Each presenting author may submit a maximum of one abstract.

Selected contributors may be invited to submit an extended paper for consideration in a post-workshop peer-reviewed journal publication or special issue (subject to standard journal review and editorial approval).

Authors are encouraged to clearly outline:
- The problem addressed
- Methodology
- Key results (if applicable)
- Relevance to the selected workshop track

2. Discussion Contribution (Non-Presenting Participation)

Participants who wish to actively contribute to discussions without delivering a formal presentation should select the "Discussion Contribution" track from the submission dropdown menu and submit a brief abstract outlining:
- Area of expertise
- Current work relevant to VOLDA themes
- Intended contribution to workshop discussions

These submissions will assist the Programme Committee in structuring focused interactive sessions and roundtable discussions.
