You are warmly invited to the Tritium Fuel Cycle Division PhD Showcase on Wednesday 9th September 2026. This event will showcase the important research that our university collaborators are working on and some of the internal research going on in the Tritium Fuel Cycle Division at UKAEA. Our aim is to inform external collaborators and internal researchers of our ongoing research and collaboration build strong relationships to tackle the important problems fusion needs solving together.
The morning will consist of talks from Tritium Fuel Cycle Division scientists on the capabilities and research going on here at UKAEA. Following the introduction to the Tritium Fuel Cycle Division there will be talks from current PhD students and a poster session with lunch.
You will also be able to register for various facility tours including MAST-U & JET, MDF & MRF, AGHS (Active Gas Handling System) & H3AT VR Tour, MRF and RACE.
This event will be held in a in-person format.

You must register by completing the registration form. We encourage you to be logged into Indico (the web-based event management system hosting this site) to register.

Who can attend
Current TFC PhD Students and their Supervisors.
Due to high demand and limited availability, only register if you are confident you can attend. This helps us manage resources and ensure places are used effectively.

Places are limited due to room capacity. Registration may close earlier than the advertised deadline if capacity is reached.
