Abstracts
The success of the workshop depends on valuable contributions from the UK atom probe community. Please submit your abstracts (~250 words) by Friday 14 November using this link
We welcome contributions focused on developments in atom probe from both experimental and data handling perspectives, as well as those working on applications. For example, this could include tips & tricks, problems you’ve encountered, interesting analysis techniques, visualisation approaches, or novel sample preparation.
When Should I Attend?
The workshop comprises two days:
Monday 24th November:
Introduction to atom probe session (for new and prospective users), followed by
The first day of technical talks from staff and student representatives across UK facilities, with an optional informal dinner in Oxford.
Tuesday 25th November:
Technical talks and workshop-style discussions.
Most attendees are expected to attend on Monday and Tuesday with an arrival after the introductory session.
New and prospective users are invited to the “first day only” option, to arrive early on the first day with the expectation they will not return for the second day of technical deep dive talks which is aimed at atom probe users new and experienced for topics including sample preparation, data acquisition and data analysis & visualisation. .
There will be some other options for those in the organising committee or keen members who want to attend “both days full”, or if you can only attend for the first of second day (for whatever other commitments you have).
Registration closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 16 November.
NOTE
Culham Campus is a secure site—photo ID and confirmed registration are required for entry.
