Liquid Scintillation Counting Analysis for Breeder Materials Workshop

This one-day workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners using liquid scintillation counting (LSC) for tritium analysis in breeder-relevant materials and samples. With active work underway across multiple institutes through recent LIBRTI feeder stream projects, the event aims to provide a forum for sharing practical experience, discussing challenges and best practice, and building a stronger community of users working on tritium measurements in lithium-containing materials and related samples, including bubbler water.

Attendees can expect a mixture of technical presentations, workshop discussion, and opportunities to learn from colleagues across the UK fusion research community. Participants are encouraged to contribute short presentations on their own work, methodologies, lessons learned, and measurement challenges. The workshop will conclude with tours of specialist facilities, such as health physics laboratories, tritium analysis laboratories, and materials research facilities, providing insight into the wider infrastructure supporting fusion materials and tritium research.
