Q: Is the event free?
A: ECW 2026 is free of charge and lunch will be provided. The conference dinner is not free, and will need to be pre-paid. The pre-payment site will open closer to the event.
Q: Is the event hybrid?
A: We will be hybrid apart from the poster sessions, but encourage everyone to come in person if possible, as the best discussions often happen over a coffee or over a beer.
Q: What do I need to bring on the day?
A: You must bring a valid photo ID.
Please also have your confirmation email saved on your phone, as we may ask to see it.
Access to the Culham site is subject to UKAEA security protocols. All visitors must show valid photo ID on arrival to receive a visitor pass. Without it, access will not be granted.
Q: Will photography be taken on the day?
A: Yes - A photographer will be on-site. By attending this event, you consent to UKAEA using and distributing your image for informational, publicity, promotional and reporting purposes. Flash photography will not be used. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform an organiser on the day.
Q: Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?
A: If you can no longer attend, contact us as soon as possible. We will check if it’s possible to update the ticket details.
