UKAEA's SME Exhibition & Connect Event
UKAEA’s is hosting it's annual SME showcase event, taking place on Wednesday 30th September at our Culham Campus!
This event is part of Commercial's SME Action Plan, which aims to strengthen collaboration and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working in the fusion industry and related sectors.
What the event includes
- Exhibition booths hosted by SMEs and Tier 1 suppliers, as well as UKAEA and UKFE.
- A day focused on engagement and networking, with workshops and activities throughout.
- Direct access to UKAEA Commercial and technical representatives through our Fusion 1-2-1s.
- Opportunities to connect with delegates from SMEs, large organisations, and industry leaders involved in the fusion sector and related technologies.

Registration
You must register by completing the registration form.
We encourage you to create an Indico account. This will save your details for future registrations, make it easier to manage your bookings, and give you access to the event participant list.
To register, select the ‘Book a ticket’ tab in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Who should register?
This event is open to organisations keen to connect with innovative suppliers, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with those shaping the future of fusion. Whether you are representing large organisations or SMEs whose capabilities align with the fusion energy sector and related technologies, we encourage you to register and take part.
A maximum of two tickets per organisation will be permitted.
Please note that we are unable to add on additional registrations once the registration period has closed, therefore we recommend that you register your spot early.
Please note before registering
By booking an in-person ticket, you are registering your interest in attending the event. The Commercial team will review all registrations in line with the criteria outlined above, and you will receive an email confirming whether or not your place has been secured.
This is a free event for delegates. However, each registration incurs a cost for UKAEA.
Due to high demand and limited availability, we kindly ask that you only register if you are confident you can attend. This helps us manage resources responsibly and ensure that spaces are used effectively.
No-shows will be noted and may affect your ability to participate in future Suppliers' events.
Ticket options and key dates
This event will be hosted in an in-person format only.
- Suppliers in-person ticket. You can book this ticket until 3rd September 2026. Places are limited due to event capacity, so early booking is recommended. This ticket includes: access to exhibition booths, lunch and the workshops. If your place is confirmed, you must read the site emergency slides before arriving (click here).
- Fusion 1-2-1s ticket. You can book this ticket until 3rd September 2026. This ticket is only valid along with a confirmed Suppliers in-person ticket. This option gives you access to have a short 10 minute conversation with the given UKAEA or external representative.
Please note: these tickets are limited to only one 1-2-1 session per company, therefore we will be reviewing and moderating registrations received.
- UKAEA ticket. This ticket is for UKAEA staff who are supporting the event or attending as delegates and can be booked until 3rd September.
NOTE: in line with the UK Government sanctions, UKAEA is not conducting any procurement, commercial, business development or supply chain activity with any Belarus or Russian entity. Therefore, Russian and Belarusian entities' registrations will not proceed.
