RACE:
When you arrive at the RACE foyer, a RACE colleague will put you and your guests into a group for a tour. Please be patient, a colleugue will get you on a tour as soon as they can.
On the tour there will be the opportunity for hands on demonstrations, live demonstrations run by experts and the chance to listen to robotics specialists about their work within the division.
MRF:
Simililarly, at MRF you will need to arrive in the M1 building foyer where you will be put into tour groups by a Materials volunteer. Please be patient as there are limited spaces on each tour so you may have to wait a little while until a tour guide is avaliable to commence your tour.
On the tour of the Materials Research Facility, you will have a guided tour of the microscopy lab, hot cells and the workhall.
JET:
You will access the JET tour via the J1 remote handling corridor. JET tours will be self guided but there will be stationed experts along the one way route to answer any questions.
The route stops will include, the remote handling control room, the JET assembly hall, a view of the JET machine and lastly, the In-vessel Training Facility.
MAST-Upgrade:
When you arrive at the D1 foyer of MAST Upgrade you will be able walk around the facility and speak to the stationed experts along the one-way route.
The route includes the MAST Upgrade model, the control room, the MAST-U blockhouse (machine) and the MAST centre column.
