Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, all guests AND staff members must be booked in and have ticket confirmation to attend the event.
Is there an age restriction?
No, you can bring children of any age but you are fully responsible for your child while on site and your children must be supervised at all times.
How long will it take to visit all 4 facilities?
Please allow 2 hours for your visit, we expect each facility tour to take 30 minutes.
Will there be food and drink avaliable?
The C7 coffee bar will be open for you to purchase drinks and snacks from 9am until 2pm. We suggest bringing your own water bottles, especially if it's a hot day!
Will there be baby changing facilities on site?
There are no baby changing facilities on site so please bear this in mind when choosing to bring babies to the open day.
Will the event be accessible?
Yes, there will be accessible routes in each facility and chaperones to help anyone who needs assistance during their visit.
We will also have a quiet room in the C7 building if anyone needs it.
How many guests can I bring?
Each staff member is allowed to bring up to 5 guests plus themeselves. If this limit is not suitable for you please contact niamh.goodway@ukaea.uk
What should I bring with me?
All over 18's MUST bring photo ID with them and present it on arrival. All visitors must be wearing closed toe and comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking.
Is there an entry fee?
No, the event is free to attend.
