On arrival a member of the patrol team will tick your names off the list and check your ID's (over 18's only). You will then be presented with a Family day wrist band which you must wear while on site. The UKAEA/ UKIFS employee must be wearing their site pass.
If your names are not on the list, you will be turned away.
You can then drive onto site through security and park in any available space. You can also move your car during the visit so you do not need to walk between facilities.
It is entirely up to you which order you tour the facilities in, but please bear in mind that some facilities may be busier than others, so please take this into consideration when planning your visit.
