Welcome to the Collaborative Project Formation Workshop

This one-day workshop is aimed at SMEs up to large commercial organisations who would be interested in collaborating with UKAEA’s robotics research team to develop and commercialise emerging technologies from Fusion into the Nuclear Decommissioning sector. See more at acorn.ac.uk/collaborate

What's being covered?

UKAEA is leading the delivery of a new EPSRC funded programme ACORN - the Accelerator for Cumbria and Oxfordshire Robotics in Nuclear. This programme aims to deliver impact in the regions by investing in technologies emerging from research organisations in the UK, including UKAEA’s Robotics Research Team. This session will include an overview of recent developments and opportunities for formal and informal discussion of opportunities to collaborate on the commercialisation of new robotics and AI technologies.

What will you gain?

At the end of the day you will have learned about emerging robotics technologies from the fusion sector, understand how your organisation can benefit from the ACORN programme, meet the researchers behind the technologies, and begin to develop proposals to be funded.
