Magnet Technology – Strategy & Collaboration Alignment Workshop
Overview
This session builds on earlier Magnet Technology Catalyst discussions and is intended as a next‑step alignment meeting. The aim is to bring together a focused group across UKAEA, government, academia, and industry to test direction, prioritise near‑term opportunities, and identify where coordinated effort can deliver the most value.
At this stage, the objectives are to:
- refine and challenge the emerging direction,
- identify 2–3 priority areas for near-term focus,
- align on potential next steps (e.g. collaboration models, funding routes, facility use).
Participants have been invited to keep the discussion targeted and outcome-driven.
The session will bring together colleagues across programmes, academia, and industry to support a shared view on Magnet Technology priorities and collaboration opportunities.
